I ran the 3 mile warm-up with Dee then she took off like her butt was on fire. So I just tucked in behind her and followed. Then towards the end of the loop, I asked how many she was doing and she said just one. I don't know how the heck I was going to be able to do another. She set a really fast pace and I didn't think I had it in me to do another one. So I quickly started and Sadie was right behind me. She than picked up the pace and wanted to run with me because she didn't want to run alone. It hurt my ego some because this was her cool-down lap. That means her easy pace is my tempo pace. But then Sadie quickly said that the was picking up the pace some and this wasn't her easy pace. She asked my what my time should be and I told her. She than said "okay, now drop back and just follow." That is what I did. I didn't think, I just followed behind her. Ended up finishing 10 seconds too fast!! Go me!! Then ran with Kim for the cool-down. Thanks to Kim I ran 2 extra miles but that's okay I had fun talking to her. Thanks Dee and Sadie for helping me push through this workout.

You're funny! Just so you know, I wasn't on my cooldown lap. No way was I lapping you. I was nursing a calf tweak and doing my 'conservative' run instead. Regardless, it wasn't my easy pace, and you definitely rocked it.
