I had originally only wanted to do 15 or 16 miles, but then wanted to get at least a 20 miler under my belt before the next phase of the training started. Everyone else had done at lease five 20's and since I was out with an injury I hadn't even done one. I started out the run with my usually running group, but then at the 1st water stop I was determined to finish the 20 miler so I decided to slow down and run with Andrea, Foho, and BFDee. I am soo glad that I did. We took it nice and easy for the rest of the miles. There were some hills that weren't fun and some areas where there was no sidewalk which made it alittle scary with oncoming cars. I probably could have gone faster, but decided to take it slow since this my 2nd long run back. But I am happy to say I made it !! And I made it with little to no pain!!!

Overall Pace - 10:32/mile

I was alittle sore when I got done, but that was expected. I just ran 20 miles!! You body isn't supposed to feel great when finished. I went home showered, ate, and took a nap. Felt much much better. Alittle soreness but not much at all. Yeah!! I think I am back!!
